On the green plains at the mouth of the Imagna Valley, surrounded by cool woods, we find the small town of Almenno San Bartolomeo. The landscape is part of the protected area of the Romanico Park and therefore an ideal destination for adventures in nature. The park is crossed by numerous bike and foot paths, and can be explored alone or in the company of knowledgeable guides. The village also offers art and cultural attractions. The sights include the Round Church of San Tomè, a jewel of the Lombard Romanesque set in a splendid countryside, and the "Museum of Tino Sana, Carpenter," displaying the secrets of woodworking and folk manufactures. The "Parietti Kiln Museum" is a nineteenth-century industrial archeology site preserving the structures for production of red brick and roof tiles, another historic industry.
