Bitetto

Bitetto (BA) Puglia

A village with a strong cultural and gastronomic heritage, Bitetto is well know for its “heart of white stone”, the beautiful cathedral dedicated to St. Michael, an elegant example of typical Apulian Romanesque architecture. Bitetto is also popular for its traditional products, above all the sweet table olives called oliva termite, celebrated in a yearly festival held in September.
