The historic village of is located on a hill that dominates the valley of the Cervaro stream. It is an enchanting village with its paved alleys, its small, white houses, and, above all, its imposing stone castle recounting the atmospheres of a mysterious past. The Duke’s Castle, ancient dwelling of the local Dukes, is said to have hosted the son of Emperor Frederick the Great, Manfredi, before the battle of Benevento.
