Cesenatico has a beating heart rooted in the sea and in its traditions. Its identity is recounted in a maritime museum that is unique in Italy. It is called Museo della Marineria and has a land section, a floating section consisting in eleven sail boats and a sailing section with majestic boats with the characteristic coloured sails anchored in the harbour designed by Leonardo da Vinci. The museum aims at protecting the intangible heritage of the ancient sailing techniques. Soul and history, ancient gestures and traditions: Cesenatico is a unique place where history literally sails on the sea waves.
