Forlimpopoli (FC) Emilia-Romagna

Located in a land where mountains, flatland and the sea meet, Forlimpopoli is where Pellegrino Artusi was born in 1820, writer, great cuisine expert and literary critic who wrote a famous Italian cooking book entitled Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well. Artusi, the symbol of the Italian cuisine, was the first to write about our country and its culinary traditions. Forlimpopoli is his hometown. Here visitors can discover his work as well as the tastes of the food he wrote about, celebrated every year with the “Festa Artusiana”.
