Framura is a tiny, inviting town wedged between the sea and the hills. It seems to spill down towards the water’s edge, making for a beautiful spectacle – while the smell of the salty air washes over the town like a wave. The town itself is dominated by the ancient castle, but the main hub of local activity takes place down by the sea. In addition to the tiny harbor, there are plenty of little coves where you can take a tip among the red rocks, which are lit up by the light of the setting sun. Alternatively, scuba divers can patrol the mysterious depths and explore the extensive wreckage in the area. Away from the sea and the buzz it attracts, the calm of the green landscape allows you to enjoy a stroll or stop off and sample one of the local dishes.
