San Giovanni in Marignano, a medieval village, is located at the beginning of the valley Valconca, just a few kilometres from the beaches of the Riviera and not far from the first hills, that are so rich and fertile that they were called "the barn of the Malatesta House". Agriculture is still very important and practiced according to local traditions. The products of the land are the result of the passion with which farmers cultivate their land. San Giovanni in Marignano is a land of wheat and wine, of tables open to guests. Every year it hosts the popular Witch Festival, with shows, street artists, music and the traditional Burning of the Witch that closes the festival and announces the arrival of summer.
